Ground cardamom
Cardamom is used in cuisines of many countries. It is well combined with poultry soups, dishes with peas and smoked meat, sweet dishes. It is present in seasonings for vegetarian pilaf, various pork, mutton and fish dishes. In some Arab countries coffee is flavored by cardamom , in China it is used as tea flavoring. In medicine cardamom and its essential oil are used as antiseptics at high temperature fever heat cases, laryngitis, bronchitis, tracheitis and pneumonia. Essential oil of cardamom increases secretory-motoric function of digestive tract and is applied at gastric and intestinal colic cases , disorders of food tolerance and vomiting.
