Cinnamon

Cinnamon is used for preparation of a number of desserts, chocolate, spicy lollipops and liqueurs. In the Middle East cinnamon is often used in hot chicken or mutton dishes . In America cinnamon and sugar are often added to porridges or fruit, especially to apples. Cinnamon is used at conservation, especially in marinades. In medicine and aromatherapy the application of cinnamon is connected first of all with the action of a complex of its volatile fragrant substances, some of which can be extricated in the form of essential oil, which is a commodity product. Cinnamon extracts and essential oil have deserved the reputation of a valuable component of drugs against cold-related diseases.
