Powdered sugar
It is granulated sugar ground to dustlike state. The chemical makeup of powdered sugar includes small amounts of mineral substances: potassium, calcium, iron and sodium. Powdered sugar is used in cookery mainly for preparation of confectionery, for example, of icing ( calorizer). Powdered sugar is often used to dust bakery products. Powdered sugar is necessary for production of glazes, whipped cream and whisked eggs, preparation of cocktails and soft drinks and for decoration of confectionery. If powdered sugar is used for whisking egg whites or whipping cream instead of granulated sugar , then the foam becomes more gentle.
